All Warm Zones projects work on the basis of ‘something for everyone’.

Subject to funding, Newcastle Warm Zone can provide Free insulation measures to:

• All households who are found to be in fuel poverty
• All households on certain benefits
• All households where one of the occupants is over 60 (from 1st August 2008 for a limited period, subject to funding)
• All households where one of the occupants is 5 and under (from 22nd October 2008 for a limited period, subject to funding)
• All Your Homes Newcastle tenants

Warm Zone can also provide a free benefits advice check and support (to help increase household income) and free energy advice (to attempt to save unnecessary household expenditure) to all households.

For households who do not qualify for free measures, Warm Zones can offer cavity wall insulation and loft insulation from £99, a significant discount from typical prices. (subject to a free, no obligation survey)
