We interviewed 1,100 local residents to find out:

• The effectiveness of the distribution of Citylife and ward newsletters
• How satisfied residents are with the publications
• What improvements residents would like to see

Summary of our findings

• 74% of residents say they regularly receive a copy of Citylife
• Around 60% of residents who receive Citylife regularly read it
• Most residents found Citylife useful and enjoyable
• Most residents thought Citylife was value for money at 32p a copy
• Less than half of all residents recalled receiving a copy of their local ward newsletter
• 83% of residents who received and read their ward newsletter found the information useful

There were lots of helpful comments and suggestions about what people liked about Citylife and the ward newsletters and what information they would like to be included. We will use the findings from our research to make improvements in the future.
