The Newburn Ward Boundary begins at the A69/Ponteland Road interchange. It heads north following the City Boundary meeting Stamfordham Road at Loughbridge House. It then heads east until it meets the North Walbottle Wagon Way, where it heads south until it comes on to the A69 and travels east. The boundary heads south past the east end of the terraced streets of Blucher Village across the field to the south end of Dene Terrace where it heads down Walbottle Road. At the roundabout at the bottom of Walbottle Road it heads east then west along Severs Terrace to meet the River Tyne where it travels west. After travelling west along the river it heads south just west of Moor Court. It then travels north over Hexham Road, following the City Boundary back to the A69 where it follows the road back east to the starting point.
