External communications advice
We are developing systems and relationships to support external communication activity and service promotion. We are working with directorates and partners to ensure the delivery of communication plans and to assess the effectiveness of communications activities. We continue to develop and raise awareness of our accessibility standards for communication and our corporate branding.
Internal communications advice
We are developing an internal communications toolkit accessible to managers and staff on the Council intranet. The toolkit shows how to communicate with groups of staff across the Council. We are responsible for corporate internal communications such as the Chief Executive's e-news, managers communications sessions, team brief and our internal staff awards. And we work with directorates to develop their local internal communications.
